Delpopolo Finishes 7th in Hungary

Budapest, Hungary After a first round bye Nick Delpopolo went 2-2 to place 7th out of 53 competitors at the European Open held in Budapest, Hungary on Feb. 16th. Delpopolo’s 7th place was a decent finish for him as he is just starting out back on the World Tour. Nick competed at the Paris Grand Slam Feb. 9th where he went 1-1 and he was pleased to perform better in Hungary saying “It’s good to see my name in the final results table again, now I just have to work on getting it to that top spot.”
Delpopolo will now travel to Tata, Hungary for a 3 day training camp before heading to Dusseldorf where he will compete in the prestigious Grand Prix. Nick finished 5th in Dusseldorf in both 2011 and 2012.
